Dr. Amisha Antony
Dr. Amisha Antony serves as an Assistant Professor of Travel and Tourism Management at GPM Government College. A distinguished academic in the field of tourism studies, she holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Tourism and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Tourism.
Dr. Antony possesses an extensive academic background, having previously held faculty positions at JAIN (Deemed-to-be) University and MES College, Marampally. During her tenure at these institutions, she contributed significantly to the pedagogical development and advancement of tourism and management studies. Complementing her scholarly expertise is her professional experience within the tourism industry, specifically in the domain of tour operations. This background enables her to effectively synthesize theoretical frameworks with practical, industry-specific insights.
Dr. Amisha Antony's primary research interests encompass sustainable tourism development, the socio-economic impacts of tourism on local communities, and the evolving structural dynamics of the global tourism sector. Dr. Antony has authored multiple research articles in esteemed academic journals, actively contributing to the contemporary discourse in tourism scholarship.
