Agney Sai C.

Agney Sai is an Assistant Professor of History at GPM Govt. College.

As an interdisciplinary faculty, he offers courses on 'The Cultural Heritage of Asia' and 'Cultural Heritage of India' at the Department of Travel and Tourism Management as well as Open Courses on 'India's Struggle for Freedom, Archaeology' etc. to the Departments of Kannada, Statistics and Commerce.

He has obtained his Masters with Gold Medal from the Department of History, Pondicherry Central University.

Before joining the Govt Service, Mr. Sai also had a small stint as a Guest Faculty at Pondicherry University where he taught courses on the History of World Civilizations, Mughal India, Heritage Legislations etc.

Mr. Sai is interested in the areas of Global History, Intellectual History, Digital Humanities, Cultural studies of Médiéval India and South India especially the martial art traditions of Kerala.
