The entrepreneurial Development Club of GPM Government College was established to foster creativity and innovation among our students The Department of Industries and Commerce, in collaboration with the Education Department, developed a plan to establish “Entrepreneurship Development Clubs” in state universities in order to foster an entrepreneurial culture among young people.
The purpose of the entrepreneurship development club at our college is to foster an entrepreneurial mindset in young people and provide them the skills, confidence, and know-how they need to carry the entrepreneurial torch for the next generation.
ED club provides a platform for realizing business opportunities by arranging industrial visit, business awareness classes, and practical sessions on skill development training, interaction with entrepreneurs etc.
Aims & Objectives
- To inculcate entrepreneurial culture and nurture the latent entrepreneurial talent in students
- To induct entrepreneurial spirit in the institution
- To inculcate social virtues i.e. Trust worthiness, Integrity, Hard work, Discipline, Honesty etc. as constituents of entrepreneurship.
- To sensitize students on the real Economic and Industrial development scenario of the state
- To organize work shop, seminars, webinars, skill enhancement programmes and Interactive session with successful entrepreneurs
- To familiarize the youth to the latest development in business
