PG Department of Commerce at GPM Govt College has a unique identity in terms of its consistent excellent academic achievements.
Offering M.Com and B.Com courses, it has been regularly securing University level top positions along with producing a good number of UGC NET-JRF holders.
Being blessed with fully qualified teachers and availability of abundant books of high quality, the Department is striving to achieve greater academic milestones.
It has been a regular practice for the department to invite eminent resource persons and scholars to discuss and share their knowledge for updating and strengthening our resource base.

Message from Head of the Department

The Department is determined to excel in providing best quality education in Commerce programmes (B.Com & M.Com) in the Northern most part of Kerala State for the students, for equipping them with ability to engage in entrepreneurship, corporate and academic sectors of occupation by having all round professional approach

To create academic excellence in different areas of commerce courses, learning team work and leadership skills so as to enable them to make better choices in their career
To build up best quality human resource in Commerce who can engage in entrepreneurial ventures, for creating long lasting impacts on the socio- economic spheres of living environment
To nurture the students in Commerce for engaging in higher levels of learning and research for bringing innovation and pro- developmental contributions towards the society
