About the Department
- The Hindi Department of GPM Government College has been functioning since the establishment of the college. There are no sanctioned UG or PG programmes in the department.
- The department is a single faculty department teaching Hindi as a second language.The Department of Hindi has always tried to arouse the interest of the students for our country’s Official Language.
- The department celebrates Hindi diwas by conducting student-centred programmes. The faculty ensures that the students understand the structure and essence of the language while reading their textbooks.
- The vision of the Hindi Department is to inspire our students to explore Hindi as a language and its literature. Knowing a language other than our mother tongue is always beneficial in our current world. Knowing Hindi would definitely increase our students’ opportunities in this competitive world.
